The U.P. Energy Task Force says more rail transport is necessary for critically needed propane for home heating and other measures to avoid major future disruptions in supply, including a Line 5 pipeline rupture.

These are just draft recommendations. Enbridge will be fighting to keep Line 5 and their Canadian monopoly operating indefinitely. You can help make sure Gov. Whitmer gets the right recommendations and the right message by submitting public comment to the Upper Peninsula Energy Task Force by April 6.
